One must fully understand that the Virginia Supreme Court ruling is not simply overruling the voters based on a technicality--it is overruling the voters on a technicality THAT THEY LITERALLY JUST INVENTED FOR THIS PURPOSE AND EXISTS NOWHERE ELSE IN VIRGINIA OR FEDERAL LAW

The voucher part of Trump’s tax bill was always about defunding snd destabilizing public schools. Disappointed the Gov would side with big donors rather then even wait to see if the voucher regs even help parents who send their kids to public schools. www.chalkbeat.org/newyork/2026...

With Gov. Hochul’s OK, NY could become second Democrat-led state to opt into federal tax-credit scholarship
The announcement represents a win for supporters of private school choice, who have been lobbying Democratic governors to join the federal program.

Worth tracking down tonight's Anderson Cooper's AC360, first ten minutes, w Sen @gallego.senate.gov . Gallego is holding nothing back. (See attached image, from this story www.rawstory.com/ruben-galleg... I heard this live.) Text gives you the gist; worth finding video for the vibe.
Transcript:

"No," said Gallego. "And I've been very clear. He is a madman. He is insane. He's only thinking about himself."

"You really think he's insane?" Cooper pressed him.

"Yes!" shouted Gallego. "I'm sorry, where are we at this moment where we don't understand what's happening in this country? The man is threatening war against a NATO ally. We all think this is rational, right? Let's accept what's happening here. He is not rational right now. He is destroying our world reputation or potentially our economic opportunity or economic might and power around the world because he is being petty."

Politicians complicate things. But this whole issue of why the House has closed down for the past 5 months and why Adelita Grijalva isn’t sworn in yet likely isn’t complicated at all. The answer is likely pretty damn simple: Trump is most likely a pedophile, and Speaker Johnson knows it. That’s all.

Trump’s nominee to be the Army’s lawyer is confused about the First Amendment. Independent journalists must be free to report the facts without fear of retaliation. If we're sending troops to war under false pretenses, Americans have a right to know.
Graphic with Senator Warren asking: Is it consistent with the First Amendment for DOD to revoke a reporter’s press credentials for publishing a story that’s critical of President Trump?

DoD official responds: Yes... If the basis was that the person published information that was not otherwise approved for release by the Department.

Senator Warren Responds: Whoa.
