The Lost Story by Meg Shaffer is a delightful read so far. There's been a reference to The Last Unicorn and many many Narnia references. I've just gotten to the Big Reveal and while I did start to suspect something along those lines, it was even better than I anticipated. I fucking love books

My nesting partner has to have urgent shoulder surgery and will not be able to use his right arm for months. My dog is recovering from knee surgery before she needs her second knee surgery. I am still in recovery from 4 knee surgeries. I don't know how we are going to get through, I genuinely don't.

I used to read under the covers with a torch until it was confiscated. Apparently that why I have bad eyesight. Not genetics. Now I don't have self restraint and don't have to hide so I end up reading in the very small hours.
