🎥 Democracy Now highlighted the targeting of journalists in Lebanon, including Press TV reporter Hadi Hoteit, who was wounded Monday when an Israeli drone strike hit while he was reporting live from Kfar Tebnit in southern Lebanon.

The segment featured Irish filmmaker Sean Murray’s new documentary, Journalcide: The War on Truth, which examines the killings of Lebanese journalists Ali Shuaib, Fatima Ftouni, Mohammad Ftouni, and Amal Khalil. Murray says the attacks are part of a deliberate effort to silence reporting on Israeli actions in Lebanon.

According to Democracy Now, at least 29 journalists have been killed in Lebanon during Israel’s assault, while more than 260 journalists and media workers have been killed in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
