Right now the Democrats have no power. So while I know that they want to impeach him, they cannot because they do not have the vote. As soon as they do, they will impeach. As soon as the impeachment is passes the House, it goes to the Senate and a trial starts automatically.

Senators cannot bring up charges for impeachment. Only House members can. But unfortunately, until we control the House of Representatives, we aren't going to be able to get a majority to vote for impeachment. As soon as we win in November, we will have that power. Please read up on the process.
