The data center is such a downer for gamer and PC building enthusiasts - SSD, GPU and RAM prices have soared to the point that most consumers are priced out of those items. I priced out a build I did back in 2023 that cost ~$2K. It'd cost over $8K to build a PC with those 3 year old parts today.
