Come Plankton, friend or traitor come. Come and look upon the heart and Spongebob... and bring The Krabby Patty Recipe, I have need of it! Come to the heart chamber. I wait for you there where we last met, countless ages ago...

From the Spongebob season 7 episode "Inside Job", Plankton is inside Spongebob's body and stands before Spongebob's heart. A miniature, though muscular, Patrick Star wearing the mask of Morrowind antagonist Dagoth Ur stands beside the heart striking a menacing pose.

I know Cindy Lee is a drag act and that Pat is not necessarily Trans, but fuck if that doesn't still make the music feel incredibly personal for some reason.

Now transitioning is extra cool bc the state says you're not real, but you look down and omg you are real. Very punk, very cool. Do it, cowards. Demonstrate your desire to act in defiance of the state. Have your existence be proof of a more expansive life. Or stay boring idc 🤷‍♀️

I know there are a lot of trans teachers and professors who follow me and may be directly impacted by this. My advice would be to start reaching out to each other and organizing a response NOW, not after the order hits.

They’re spraying a firehose of shit directly at you because they want to wear you down and make you despair. Today, resistance looks like not letting them drag you under for the third night in a row. Fuck them. Fuck everyone involved with this. We will fight back.

We've got a zine that we put together recently on DIY web archiving. It doesn't have to be technically difficult, and there are tools that may work better for some websites than the Internet Archive (though certainly make sure things get archived there, too!)

Zine cover, reading "Things disappear from the internet. Care about stuff on the web? *You* need to act to archive it. Anyone can do it -- this zine shows you how."

These executive orders on banning federally funded entities from recognizing trans people or disallowing them from using the bathroom are not self-executing or immediately enforceable. They require formal rule making at a minimum. They are a scare tactic. Ignore and do not comply in advance.

Just FYI, administrative warrants (like the ones used by ICE) are not judicial warrants (used by cops, signed by a judge). You do NOT legally have to open the door for an ICE officer with an administrative warrant *no matter what the ICE officer says.*

This is VERY important for anyone you know affected by the Los Angeles fires who is currently raising funds on GoFundMe: FEMA does not cover expenses already paid for by other sources. So be careful with how you word your fundraisers—this has affected people who survived other natural disasters.
