Welcome to New Music Friday, where we round-up all of the week’s releases from metalcore, hardcore, alternative and indie.

In broken fragments I see your face, but they fall away and distort this picture.

Crawling through my head, you want me dead, so please just say it.

Your serendipity you felt when you ripped the ground from me.

Even on days like this, I'll sing of our existence, no matter what.

A lifetime spent naive to the malice of pure greed.

Agriculture returns after the standout EP Living is Easy with another great showing in the ecstatic & often eclectic LP The Spiritual Sound.

Breathe in the deafening glow.

We'll hit the city limits and we'll leave it behind be free.

Fall into those arms again, and there you are always.

Drawn in day after day as the years crumble away.

Can we rewind to a time when we were close?

A beating heart just isn't enough.

How do you reconcile grief, when all it does is take and take again.

How do you reconcile grief, when all it does is take and take again.

Fleshwater returns with sophomore effort 2000: In Search of the Endless Sky, building some new tricks to include alongside some old ones.

I don't know if I believe - but maybe you can teach me how to heal?

How do you reconcile grief, when all it does is take and take again.

Slow Crush returns with another quite good (though not always novel) effort in Thirst, which continues their heavy shoegaze escapades.

We told them all to fear us and they parted ways to let us through.

I’ve found the words I need to say, I’m holding them like potter’s clay.

You're forever a part of me.

Hold the weight of my mistakes and take my hand.

Don’t let them question your love.

Your will, consumed in fire, guarded by the serpent.

We began our venture into 2000trees on the Thursday, where we caught a plethora of bands in Rifle, False Reality, PVRIS, Stick To Your Guns and many more.

Will this forever be my curse?

Cauterized with hot blades down the spine.

I’m cursed with a desire that slowly erodes my sanity.

I felt you call from the void.

Are we really too late?

So you can tell me what to bring, and I'll give you anything.

If I am a God, then you'll meet your un-maker.

Careless or calculated? A poison on the needle.

I look to the earth, she cries in vein.

Tapped out and tearing at the seams.

The best part of being yourself is that you can’t do it wrong.

Sisters, we've waited a hundred years for this.

I will forsake the sunlight, and curse the dawn.

Planning for Burial follows up Below the House with a similar but notably older (and presumably wiser) premise in It's Closeness, It's Easy.

Why don’t you put up a fight?

When I check in, it’s like I’m feeling for a pulse.

Wounds are not simply healed by time, they are viciously cauterized.

Not your carbon copy, baby.

Hymns of dissonance we sing.

I am the wind, who whispers what could have been.

Cascade of time.

You will be purged in the purest flame.
