8/ 🌍 Broader implications This study not only highlights the elegant coordination of replication between Chr1 and Chr2 in Vibrio but the mechanism described here may reflect a broader strategy used by bacteria to integrate and stabilize secondary replicons derived from ancestral plasmids.
