HHJ Beckley was the first judge I observed when I was preparing for my own CoP hearing. He put me at my ease and made me feel less anxious. @magsbk.bsky.social had a similar experience, as she recounts in this great blog. HHJ Beckley is a great judge to observe

I have a lot of sympathy for these concerns, and the Supreme Court recognised them too - it accepts the use of injunctions during proceedings and doesn't completely rule out indefinite injunctions. That being said, indefinite injunctions are such a serious infringement of free expression

I observed this hearing on 19th March and wrote this blog. I could see how intent McKendrick J was on finding P - and her mum, missing for two years. Will mum attend the next hearing, this Friday 28th March? I plan to observe and find out.
