No one talks about it, but it is valid grief to be regularly managing sickness in your household/your kids, with little to no supports, and no end in sight to the constant infections. It shouldn't be this way. It doesn't have to be this way. #parenting #cleanair

Yes every woman has been harassed, many assaulted. But every woman has also experienced invisible loss from moments she avoided harassment. She felt a space becoming unsafe, so she left, while men stayed on. And in leaving, she lost: opportunities, experiences, learning, promotions, even simply fun.

I am no longer a registered nurse. Not through any choice, but because I got #LongCovid. 2 years ago I lost my nursing job because I'm too ill too work. Today my nursing registration expired. 20+ yrs given to the NHS. Ended by getting a disease without a cure.

The UN defines solitary confinement as torture when it exceeds 22 hours a day for more than 15 days. Many people with severe ME are years or even decades into that level of isolation. It’s a humanitarian crisis.
