If the left manages to win, we need to enact immediate results. The general public has lost faith in the Democratic party. Further left offers what people really need for their lives to improve. If we do not honor their needs, then there may not be another election.

I once had an argument with someone who I respected, who compared Bernie Sanders to Hitler because socialism, but Democratic socialism is completely different from your every day socialism. They then said Hitler was a socialist nationalist as though nationalism and fascism weren't the true issue.

I had a family member compare pride to Hitler youth and it had likes from 10+ other family members. A relatively small sample size I'll admit. Lots of people in this state are still anti-LGBTQIA+. I love Mayor Pete. He was the one who I wanted to vote for. Hatred is running rampant rn though.

Lots of intolerant people here in Michigan who would not vote for him because they believe his existence to be immoral. It angers me that it's the case, but it is. I've cut off ties with family members over the topic. We'll get there eventually, but not quite yet. It sucks here.
