As someone who does have OoT nostalgia, them saying the remake is designed to evoke it rings hollow. It seems to hide the 90s anime vibe of pointy features and painted texture so you only get glimmers. It’s like Wind Waker remake without cartoony character design.

The disposability of 12-15 episode anime runs leads to conventions all feeling the same. The zeitgeist seems to have solidified besides a single rotating slot for stuff like chainsaw man and spyxfamily to rotate in and out of. There’s truckloads of options but not enough shows get any play.

More ink needs to be spilled about what happens to modded elder scrolls games after that point where the PC has left the difficulty scaling behind.
