One of our local news channels just did a story about several women reporting that a man had followed them on their walks on a local trail. They talked to a few people, all said they hadn't seen any problems and weren't too worried. The people they interviewed? Men. All of them were men.

Happy 4th! I'm working today but it's not busy. One of my coworkers came to help me (unprompted) so all my work for the day is done. I'm outside on my lunch break right now but it is incredibly humid and is about to storm. The wind has started picking up. I do believe our heat wave is breaking.

I had to take our cameras down when we had our roof replaced a few years ago and I just never put them back up, but I think I need to do it. There have been some car break-ins in the neighborhood this (well, last) month and this week a car was stolen from my street.

I tried the fried apple pie today. It was good! It wasn't hot by the time I got the groceries in and put away, but that was fine with me because I don't like warm pie. I'm hoping to get at least one more before they go away again.
