In France, legislation came into effect recently for all car parks that have over 80 spaces to be covered with solar panels. Estimated to add around 11GW of renewable energy capacity to the national grid. Why not do likewise in Scotland? Braehead, Silverburn, Glasgow Fort etc.

Love this from Guillermo del Toro

“Be kind, be involved, believe in your art,” he said. “At a time when people tell you art is not important, that is always the prelude to fascism. When they tell you it doesn’t matter, when they tell you a fucking app can do art you say, if it’s that important, why the fuck do they want it so bad? The answer is because they think they can debase everything that makes us a little better, a little more human. And that, in my book, and in my life, includes monsters.”

Proud to announce that I’m going to be swimming 5K for the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s End Endo 5K! Endo is something that I, along with 1 in 10 people with a uterus, live with. To join me in supporting Endo research and advocacy, tap the link below! give.endofound.org/MaraWilson5k...

I hold the belief that art is meant to unite us with a shared interest in telling stories and it's something not separated by borders. I promise I will never shun artists because of their birthplace or government decisions they have no say in.

2D animation is booming in theaters. In China, the film Nobody is outgrossing many of Hollywood's recent CG films—on a $10< million budget. It's only one example. As 2D films rise, Hollywood's decision to kill them off looks shortsighted. We explore: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/the-hand-d...

artists support each other when systems will not. there's little safety net. it is resilience. artists are not your competitors. artists are your peers, mentors, and the ones who will defend the ability to create sustainably. to those who struggle to continue drawing, you are an artist.

Hi #DoctorWho fans, random question, would you like Matt Berry to appear as a special guest star on Doctor Who? I personally would love him to voice an alien!
