YES!!! To make this a reality, special educators need access to the same high quality professional learning offered to their general education peers. Too often, they are excluded. Inclusive practices need to extend to the teachers and paraprofessionals who work with our most vulnerable students.

Amen. This goes both ways. Inclusion applies to teachers and I'm always upset when special educators are excluded from my trainings. Anyone supporting students needs access to the best resources & opportunities. Support the success of all teachers by including them in professional learning.

THIS!!!!!! 👇 If students don't have the opportunity to work without an adult, they are missing the most important lesson(s) of all. I see this with special educators as well. It's horrifying to see opportunity gaps this creates, even when we'll intended.
