Look. PetroCanada's refinery fire um... 15 years ago(???) really screwed up diesel production and there has been no real successful replacement. Yeah, the NWR refinery also does diesel... but does anyone even know how they're doing these days???

I wish there were more options beyond "phone the police" because the police dgaf and we need safe options for people. I think fire halls help I have an emergency contact on my phone's lock screen. Not everyone takes walks with their phone or ID or whatever; particularly if they're already confused.

Just ran into an elderly neighbor, who has dementia, wandering in the dark in the pouring rain. Took her to her friend's house. So glad I happened to be out walking the dog at just the right moment. If it looks like someone need help--ask, if you can. We need to take care of each other. 😕

(Alas, I haven't seen it in ages - Grandma sold the house after he passed away) It was amazing. So many different shades and sizes of flowers (and even timings of blooms). The fruit was also pretty incredible. Whole sections of the tree doing different things.

TFW you forgot you're wearing eye liner/shadow and there's nobody around to make you reconsider rubbing your eyes. That was a mirror surprise. My fingers somehow weren't super green???

It's my eyes! (And brows and a bit of forehead) just absolutely smeared with a dark teal eye shadow/liner in a greenish haze above and below my hooded eyes. Lots of dark green below my eyes. Lots of green streaks on the inner edges and sides of my nose, too.

My eyes surprisingly do not look too bloodshot for the latest insomnia, and the green is a complimentary colour to my bright yellow toque (yes, I'm indoors; I'm chilled).

while I'm digesting, my body pulls ALL the heat energy into my stomach/core so the rest of me is violently shivering despite the fact that the room temperature has not changed at all. Arms, legs, head, neck, back = freezing. And I also get wildly drowsy. Somebody in hydraulics needs to be fired.
