Adults drinking at kids birthday parties is WEIRD and I'll never change my mind.

Thinking a lot about my Anthropology professor who reiterated over and over that social/cultural/political progress isn't linear and it can all be taken away quicker than we think. Didn't think I'd be living through these times.

I get so much secondhand embarrassment watching Alabama Barker making a fool of herself. The lack of self awareness is truly astounding.

I don't support the antivax stuff, we need these children strong and healthy so they can work in the factories

One of my biggest flexes is that I've ALWAYS thought family vloggers were weird and exploitative and have never followed a single darn one.

The online book community used to be a smaller space and policed itself relatively well (compared to now). Now that it's bigger and right wing politicians, commentators, and media are emboldening these people, they're coming out of the woodwork.

I started a huge vegetable garden partly for the girly fairycore vibes and partly because I think we're on the precipice of Great Depression Part II.

my former boone's farm drinking, camel crush smoking, pissing in bushes self would be horrified that I'm a soft mom reading and gardening in the suburbs. I wish I could tell her it's the best.
