Inspire and encourage others to stand up and fight. That's what we need more than anything now. Raise each other into action. Keep up hope. Do something about it, no matter if the action is small. We do this as a collective, we can beat back fascism. It's not easy at all, but it's possible.

I don't know about y'all, but I've had enough of the endless doomerism surrounding the current state of the US. Post after post bemoans every shitty thing that happens, and while it's our right to post whatever, spreading hopelessness doesn't help. It makes things worse.

My message to anyone who uses the word "slop" in a movie review: You think you're Roger Ebert's review of "North." Well, I've read Roger Ebert's review of "North." I know Roger Ebert's review of "North." You are not Roger Ebert's review of "North."

Down with Love. It's a great homage to the 50s romantic comedies with Doris Day and Rock Hudson and the cast gets it. It's also really funny with some nice twists and turns. It's a movie that really made me appreciate Ewan McGregor as an actor. He absolutely understood the assignment.

I've dealt with narcissistic people who've idolized Robin Williams. The irony is that the man had a quote where he said that it's worse to be around people who make you feel alone as opposed to just being alone.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It should’ve received a Best Picture nomination. Maybe it wouldn’t have won but it would’ve been cool for it to be the first.

There's a good chance Rian Johnson wouldn't have been able to make Knives Out if he didn't direct the 8th chapter in a certain franchise.

I always find it amusing whenever people talk about the Starboy concept for “Wish” because they ALWAYS leave out the paragraph mentioning that they were planning for him to be a younger representation of Asha’s grandfather Makes all those “Asha x Starboy” stories look weird now, doesn’t it?

Brad Bird was offered to direct Episode VII but turned it down for Tomorrowland. I'm happy that he did for two reasons: 1. He connected with the themes especially the idea of having two wolves inside of us especially if you watch The Iron Giant. 2. The Star Wars fanbase is the worst.

Peter Rabbit. I think it’s an overall fine film that I enjoyed. It’s a little hit-and-miss in the humor department and the licensed songs feel out of place. But the characters are fun, Thomas McGregor and Bea are cute together and the voice acting is good even from James Corden.

Coyote vs Acme showed us that even if the odds were seemingly impossible for it to be saved, some people were still stubborn as the Coyote in defiance until it finally got the release it rightfully deserved. The filmmakers behind these mainstream Hollywood family animated films are very supportive of one another. It’s a shame that people on social media don’t understand that.

Old Tweet by Encanto co-director Jared Bush:

"Hi there. Emerging from my writing cave to find a lot of people asking how I feel about Mario cresting the billion mark, and my answer is… ELATED. Love that audiences are turning out in droves for animation. It’s great for everyone. I know many people believe animation studios should want to crush each other, but the truth is most of us are all friends, or have worked together, or simply just really respect one another. That’s why we love it. ❤️"
