I don’t think I gave Metroid Dread enough credit the first time around for how good it’s ambience is. I’m playing it on hard the second time around, which forces me to play slower and avoid taking damage. Which is good, because it lets me enjoy the environments a little more.

I’m struggling so hard, to take care of myself, while being the entire support system for someone who has a list of diagnoses that amount to “yeah she gonna melt down sometimes, it’s gonna be bad, and you can’t stop it” and like I’m trying to pick up the pieces again and again but it’s taking a toll
