The problem with most machine-based random number generators is that they’re not TRULY random, so if you need genuine randomness it is sometimes necessary to link your code to an external random process like a physical noise source or the current rate of US tariffs on a given country.

Today, largely because of the "Trump might pause tariffs" news wire, we got a break from the freefall. But markets never go straight up or straight down, and we have a lot of room left to fall. Not only are *more* tariffs about to go into effect, but the market hasn't yet priced in the *effects*

I don't think die-hard MAGA voters will come around, but I do think a large portion of those who voted for Trump will. Things will reach a point where it will be too painful, too undeniable. And they're going to realize that it's far, far too late. It's going to take us *decades* to rebuild trust.

People on Twitter figured it out, and I double-checked to verify. The strange tariff rates Trump claimed countries are putting on us are (Trade Deficit/Imports) for Goods only, Services are excluded. We have a $295 billion deficit with China, and we import $439 billion. 295/439 = 67%.
