Took a 5 day social media break. What did I see and do? Fuel prices have soared, so I have been walking to work, taking a slightly different route than going by car, and I saw the most pointless barrier ever.

At dawn, a lone metal barrier guarding nothing, casts a perfect shadow on the pavement. A few fallen leaves are on the ground around the barrier and traffic lights are just behind it.

Apparently, the cost of Petrol is as high as 174.13 in parts of British Isles, Diesel at 199.18 (and that's per litre). This is getting ridiculous. Looks like I'll be reverting to walking everywhere, like before I passed my driving test 😬

My dad has an abundance of cherry tomatoes from his garden, to the point he is giving them away to neighbours and me. So I'm whipping up a batch of slow-roasted tomatoes. Perfect for pasta, salads, omelette and more... 🍅🍅🍽🍴

I'm loving the news of the new cat species — the tilcayo tiger cat. It's as if Earth was keeping a secret from us - an 18" long feline, living in the mountains like it was no big deal. If you think that's not news, maybe you've been exposed to too much bad news, I for one think its wonderful 😊

I accidentally walked into M&S after meeting a friend. Accidentally went downstairs to the Food Hall. Accidentally purchased mini caterpillar cakes. Terrible. I have absolutely no idea how these things happen to me. 😜
