I just used the steam frame for pretty much a whole day straight. First impressions: - The lightest headset I've ever tried - FOV is massive - Screens are a little behind the quest pro with colors (to be expected, but that's okay) - I can't wear glasses in it (lenses are super close to eyes)

The RAM shortage isn’t necessarily a AI Tech bro thing, it’s almost definitely a RAM manufacturer Conspiracy that has resulted in all of them cutting production so they can raise the prices. There is no reason they shouldn’t be pivoting back to SBM when HMB is so cheap comparatively.
