However, the game doesn’t have any way to view any credits in-game until you reach an ending. I don’t consider this to be an appropriate level of crediting for either the creators of the original games or the talented members of the Thekla team, and it doesn’t meet industry standards.

My original statement wasn't about crediting - I wanted to distance myself from Jon’s politics and talk about how the game is discussed and viewed by its audience, not how my work is or isn't acknowledged. It's important to remember that if a human *voluntarily attaches* a statistical text generation AI, to a command prompt that can create biomolecules or launch nukes, and a disaster happens, it wasn't because of "intelligence" or malice. It was because statistical models are *fundamentally random*.

He Who Watches is great so far. Time from "i'm a genius" to "i'm totally fucking stupid" was met in record time but still really fun. I feel like it has some metalayer of puzzle I'm not capable of solving and I don't know if it's a knowledge thing or an ability thing but it's fun not to know yet
