I have used my 3D printer to create an entire arsenal of siege equipment and painted them accordingly. It includes four ladder elements, two battering rams, three siege towers, and four onagers (catapults). I will be using them with the excellent "Age of Hannibal" ruleset. #ageofhannibal #wargaming

#Hobbystreak 459 and 460. The terrain project continues. I've only got a few pieces of scatter terrain and the "under construction" piece left to finish off. I'll be looking at sorting out the basing after that is done. I'm considering adding moss and vines to some of it too.

OTD in 1717, Prince Eugene of Savoy's Habsburg forces captured Belgrade from the Ottomans after a two-month siege. I know, yet another Belgrade siege, but that reflects its strategic importance. Some of my troops of the period in 28mm.

Had a demo game of Flames Of War last night, and I was pleasantly surprised. I had two platoons of panzer grenadiers and a unit of StuGs holding out against a Sherman Company and lorried infantry. Nice back and forth to the game and a way to get the 15mm out on a club night.

It looks good on lap 3 as I've passed the grey and red car and look quite competitive in the toilet bend, but once yellow and blue are through that last corner they're driven straight into fourth gear tearing around that long curve - blue overtook yellow after hugging it's exhaust to take the win.
