scrolling through the top pages for physical games on itch and games on rpgtrader and seeing that they're not similar at all does reaffirm my feeling that each of the platforms really does have a very different viewship and publisher base

I'm not saying it doesn't HAPPEN, but "all weird indie TTRPGs are a kink thing" is reductive. There is also "designing RPGs to publish your worldbuilding bible", "designing RPGs because you invented a neat dice trick", "designing RPGs to win an argument", and "designing RPGs as an act of self harm".

the neuromancer tv adaptation trailer was exactly what i expected from it and exactly what i didn't want personally. to me the book feels so much more moody, cerebral, brooding, mysterious, melancholic and heavy.

i liked looking at obsidian themes because it felt like accessing the work that other had put into making their space feel like their own, a particular viewpoint of how the vault could look like but now i have to sift through what feels like slop 80% of the time

one of my idle actions is looking through the list of obsidian themes to download but since llms have become common usage i feel like most of them are generated stuff... they have a particular look and use similar fonts and their descriptions sound like they're selling you a product

digging through a box of old notebooks to find my handwritten notes on a previous book that’s now relevant again is a very fun experience (which i admit is also time consuming in a way i try to mitigate by digitalizing all my handwritten notebooks but some things fall through the cracks)
