![A black and white comic page numbered [01.] We open on a lone car travelling along a road lined with brush and evergreen trees.
An unseen speaker, from inside the car: [Hey, how much money do exorcists make?]
Cut to interior of the car. The speaker is the driver, a young woman with black hair with a dyed underlayer. She wears stud earrings and an over-sized sweater, an easygoing but mischievous smile on her face. Her companion slouches in the passenger seat, an androgynous teenager with shaggy dark hair and a t-shirt over a striped long-sleeve. They look out the window at the passing trees.
Driver: [When your clients pay you, I want a cut for the gas money. (This place is far.)]
A callout identifies the driver as [Stephanie Kwon: she/her, university student, 19.]
The passenger turns from the window, looking at Stephanie with a disinterested expression.
Passenger: [Nuna, it’s a charity. They don’t pay me.]
Author’s Note: [Nuna: Korean for “older sister, used by younger males.]
Stephanie: [HUH!? Why not?]
Passenger: [Child labor laws.]
A callout identifies the passenger as [Jordan Kwon: she/they (undercover as he/him), nonprofit exorcist, 14]
Stephanie glances critically at Jordan through the rear view mirror.
Stephanie: [Then why did we come all this way?]
Jordan earnestly holds up a sheet of paper and points to it.
Jordan: [Because it fulfills my community service requirement for student council.]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:gqskllykbmdonko5bx6yy5ur/bafkreigwieralpj3otdjo6dp3axkqnkse4ej46nwd3zf3eakko5asebgia)
![A freckled girl with curly hair in a bandana and apron sits at the front desk, thinking: [Today, at the pottery painting studio I work at…]
[Two girls are on a date!] A girl with long blond hair and a girl with short dark hair laugh together while seated at a painting station. The girl continues, [It’s pretty cute, except…]
The girl grits her teeth and thinks, [I’M SEETHING WITH JEALOUSY!! (God, when is it MY turn?)]
The dark haired girl glances at our main girl suspisciously, thinking: [The staff member is looking at us weird… is she homophobic?] The main girl glares with an intense expression.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:gqskllykbmdonko5bx6yy5ur/bafkreiafaeilzssq5rcn57qtwsoqwlgzwoxgrnkuarbjxwe2upfwiib5vq)
