BIG NEWS! Today I'll be publishing a YouTube Shorts project I've been working on for over 2 months! I'm super excited for you all to see it - and I'll post later today when the first 5 videos go live! Also happens to be Pokemon Red/Blue's English release anniversary... which is a funny coincidence

Hello there Mr. Owl! Yes, you can absolutely be on TV with me! Amazing to see a Great Horned Owl perch right in front of the tower camera like this!

Does this count as record? My Legends Z-A Catch 'em All run has been verified and sits on the top of the leaderboard... but I know that Shen has an 8:26 in this category! 🤣🏆

"It's been 3000 years!"... or over 10 months but I finally PB'd Legends Z-A Any% and by a whopping 10 MINUTES!!!

I love Legends ZA speedruns… and even having ran this game consistently for the past 11 months.. I can’t figure out where Im losing time to the top-tier runners. Back to the drawing board, try to find where approx 10-15 minutes of time save is, cause it’s just not “I’m unlucky”.

I joined a MASSIVELY-TALENTED Legends Arceus race and I'm shocked I learned PBd after having not played for 7 months! Even more so, most of the controls between ZA and Arceus are backwards (like crouch and sprint), so this was so surprising!

BLESS THE RAINS IN LUMIOSE! New Catch 'em All PB at 8hr 39min! Fantastic run that needed rain to clutch up at the end and it did! Super super happy with this time!

Good morning early risers in Texas! I’m awake for the morning shift, but just for a day! Another hot one at that, temperatures hovering around the 100° mark.

I've been cooking some fresh YouTube Content! Slowly working on a shorts-series which I should be publicly releasing later this month. Getting excited to share this project, but for now here's a teaser.

So much for "Meteorological Fall", new Heat Advisory issued for Saturday, Sep. 12 as the Heat Index will be 105-110.

I was hearing the rumbling of thunder right before the newscasts! Exciting to see the thunderstorms return to Central Texas.

031

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I'm rooting for the rain! Come on rain! Help Central Texas needs rain!

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Back-2-Back PB'd in ZA Catch 'em All! I don't think this game gets as much credit as it should be being a difficult and challenging speedrun, I'm fighting for my life in post-game to not lose 10-minutes to a single mistake!

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Finished a Legends ZA Catch ‘em All speedrun and just barely got rain in time to evolve Goodra and PB!

HUMID night for high school football

020

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

It took a tropical storm to stop the 100-degree streak! Exactly a full month, 31 days, of 100+ in Waco which is the 4th longest streak all-time!

Unfortunately, clouds rolled in fast after 10pm, and the Lunar Eclipse disappeared from my view point. Bummer it’s happened like this twice in a row to me.

180

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

About half-hour away from maximum eclipse and the skies got very VERY dark… Cloudy. My view of the Moon disappeared. (No Pic)

040

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

PARTIAL ECLIPSE BEGINS!!! The first sliver of the moon is disappearing into the Earth’s shadow! Very happy with how this pic of mine turned out!

060

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

It’s subtle but you can tell the lower left of the Moon is starting to fade into the penumbra phase of the eclipse. I took this picture! 🌙

060

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Got the GOOD camera out tonight for the lunar eclipse!

030

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

96% Partial Lunar Eclipse is TONIGHT (August 27th)! For some, the moon will rise while it's darkening, very cool! 🌙Penumbral Phase Begins at 8:24pm 🌙Partial Begins at 9:33pm CT 🌙Maximum Eclipse at 11:13pm CT 🌙Partial End at 12:52am CT

040

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

8-26-26 The heat dome that's been over Texas has moved more to the west and now a disturbance with some rain and sprinkles (and a lot of clouds!) is over Central Texas! Not enough to break the 100 degree streak, high temp already hit 104° today.

021

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

LUNAR ECLIPSE is Thursday night (Aug. 27 into 28). It's a deep partial at 96%, but that means some "blood moon" elements may be visible at its peak which is just after 11pm Central Time.

0110

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Two very large wildfires have broken out in Texas, one in Hamilton County about 50 miles west of Waco. And another in Palo Pinto County - west of Fort Worth and Dallas. The smoke is clearly visible from weather satellites.

041

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

8-23-26 Extreme Heat Warnings UPGRADED through all of Central Texas now! Hottest day of the year has been 106° and we have a chance to best that today!

030

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Somehow... the forecast keeps getting HOTTER in Waco!

030

tpat @thomaspatrickwx.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I know I know I know car thermometers aren’t the most accurate… but this is through moving air (not just sitting and baking in the sun). Sheeeeesh this is hot!!!
