On a hillside overlooking Melrose in the Scottish Borders, stands a 9.4m tall statue of one of Scotland's greatest ever heroes - William Wallace. Built in 1814, it is the first statue built in remembrance of Wallace. Today it is in the care of The William Wallace Trust. youtu.be/Zekg779uRw0
