Likening PhD holders to a (non-functional) algorithm is a form of dehumanisation & anti-intellectualism that is a bellwether for contemporary fascism. Essentially it's a typical — if not the archetypal — first step towards fascism: to dehumanise, deskill, defund, and, ultimately, fire the academics.

Ich hab die ZEIT gekauft um das Sarrazin-gespräch zu lesen. So viel Rassistische, antisemitische und liberalo-völkische Aussagen habe ich lange nicht in einem Text gelesen.

Das ist stark verallgemeinert. Es gibt Studien, die nahe-legen, dass aschkenasische Juden im Durchschnitt in bestimmten Intelligenztests höhere Werte erzielen als andere ethnische Gruppen. Aber die Ursachen dafür werden unter Wissenschaftlern sehr kontrovers diskutiert.
Wenn man Leistungsfähige an der Spitze haben will, kann dies eben bedeuten, dass bestimmte Berufe zu 30 Prozent von Juden ausgeübt werden. Wenn Sie sich die National Football League der USA anschauen, da haben Sie mehr als zwei Drittel schwarze Spieler. Genauso im Basketball.

Die Wissenschaftsfreiheit wird am besten verteidigt, indem man Universitäten nicht zu Tode spart. Nichts höhlt die "Resilienz" der Institution mehr aus, als das katastrophale Kürzungsprogramm, das gerade abläuft.
