Had a dream they released Bastion ahead of Evercold so folks could get to L100 before the xpac. It was pretty sick, although after an indeterminate amount of time it switched from what I expected Bastion gameplay to be like to "shield with a built in minigun" for some reason?

Had a decent few runs, even managed to unlock the next character, still haven't gotten to 30 minutes on that map yet. But it's very late, and I'm tired enough to be making mistakes, so that's probably it for the night.

Ok so upon a restart I tried going south first, and while I do think that's the correct call (because there's a lower bound on this map and starting closer to it means less travel after the reaper is killed) this is still going to require a lot of things going correctly.

Picked up Vampire Survivors to encourage my mind to unclench. Start a map I've never been on. Suddenly wonder if I've made a priority mistake by going North because the south is blocked by a blue reaper. (I think I can deal with it, but what a pain.)

I really gotta get myself a charging pad for the desk. I've got one over by my bed, but I find I tend to use my phone enough during the day that I need to charge it before my night owl activities (and either the USB port or cord I'm using at the desk isn't fully connecting).

Just beat Dietrich Chapter 10! Gonna take care of the initial weekly stuff and then hit the hay. (My current problem is that my core party is slightly overleveled, but I need to start taking Nydine to dungeons, etc. or recruit someone closer because Ch 10 expanded beyond the core party.)

In addition to not being able to pet the cat, the other day I accidentally ran into one full tilt as Dietrich, and it stopped me like concrete because cat physics don't exist. It *also* triggered the cat's proximity routine and sort of sadly meowed at me and I was upset that I "kicked" the kitty.

Like, I'm not giving her much credit/defense because she reposted the art on Twitter after she left, but it's wild that a lot of folks aren't talking about the layer of "Twitter incels manipulated her". There were so many sun-icon accounts in her comments telling her to ignore the "freaks"!

I saw the interactions before she left, and the people asking her to take down the art were *nice* about it. They *liked* her apology when she did. The problem was that Twitter lurkers said she was being bullied, and not only did she believe them and leave, a lot of other people are parroting it.

God this is so nerdy and/or what I'm realizing is additional evidence of undiagnosed neurodivergence, but my earliest memory of being scared of media was... an educational VCR about trains, because one of the scenes was a staged accident with a vehicle stuck on the tracks and that stuck with me.

Remember when Crunchyroll tried to make their subtitles significantly worse a year ago? They backtracked on it at the time, but I suspected they were just delaying their plans to shift from Aegisub to OOONA, and sadly, it seems I was right: Crunchyroll is actively pushing OOONA subs to users now.
