Or another great moment is everybody noticing that Mary somehow got irresistibly thicc where she even catches the attention of Smoke and Sammie, but it turns out that she just became Miss Piggy.

I'd love to see a version of Sinners where the people become Muppet vampires. Imagine you got a big guy like Cornbread who suddenly went missing, only to then return as Pepé acting like nothing happened and be like "Just let me in, okay?"

good choice I have no doubt Wildwood is going to be good I saw Digger this weekend, and I think it does have merrit to it. And I did like it and enjoy it, but agree it might not be for everyone and think that's a bit of a shame. But worth a rental to watch later in a few months.

somehow I can see Wile E. holding up a sign saying: "Ain't I a stinker." And Bugs Bunny popping in and snatching that sign for catchphrase theft. 😆

In the next year, I really want you folks to pay close attention to Pluto TV. Understand why it became a focus in the settlement. Understand why it's about to become a vital part of this new media paradigm. Understand recent deals the streamer made. Understand the library it has now access to.

oh yeah, I remember that surprising short at the start of that movie when i saw it in theaters. It involved these big alien invader guys called The Chub Chubs and these little alien chicks that look cute and defenseless, but have big teeth and eat everything. 😆

I think I saw I might've just seen or known that only one via the Roadrunner Bugs Bunny movie. And I think my parents used to say SUPER GENIUS here and there before I was able to see the cartoon to know what they were talking about. /2

neat, I didn't know there was more than one short where Wile E. Coyote spoke. I thought it was just the one short where he has the fold up door, says SUPER GENIUS and ends the short by saying, "Hello my name is mud," and proceeds to faint. /1

do you think that might eventually turn into people actually seeking out the full thing? (provided they include the name of the movie in the captions or description) just something that kind of came to my head as I was thinking of ways this could play out from other movies and shows i've seen 🤔/3

000

AgentJ @agentjfox.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

If it's on Peacock, I don't know. I'm not sure how many people have that one and actively use it. Socially, do you think it may be a good sign if this movie has a lot of clippers on it? (clipping the parts w/ jokes or really cool moments and that have the white space with text above it?) /2

AgentJ @agentjfox.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

i agree on it doing well possibly overseas and breaking even in the end. as for the US, I'm not sure how big and the right word of mouth needed to get more people to give it a shot. But i suspect it might do well on a wide platform like Netflix that many people have. /1

yup on Treasure Planet marketing. I'm not sure I saw it on TV at the time, but I remember the main place i saw the teaser for it was in front of a few different Disney VHS's I got at the time, and it really stood out. (this is a restoration, I'm just using this one bc it looks cleaner and nicer🔥❤️👍)

And in the main trailer block there was an Fanta Halloween ad w/ Ghostface driving a truck being chased by a flaming pumpkin head guy. Everything had that weird sheen to it and something in the design of everything didn't look well thought out, and felt wrong. /3

In this case, I saw 2 ai generated ads when I went to see Digger yesterday. in the pre-show there was a local floor repair company that had a space guy break the floor. the people in the ad didn't have good line of sight for making eye contact and had a weird shallow sounding distorted voices. /2

AgentJ @agentjfox.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

it feels weird when I come across ai ads in the wild that I think are meant for either local or national stage. I mostly have been isolated from video ai ads due to YouTube Premium. So it's a bit of a surprise when I see some outside that wall, but at least I'm able to identify some. /1

When news outlets use "robot apocalypse" or something similar when covering the AI threat, it keeps the subject matter in the fantasy world. If they used examples like "AI could empty your bank account" or "publicize your porn habits" it would seem scarier. I'm sure it would make Trump think twice.

Probably that and maybe measuring peoples reactions and things to the first release and then taking the time to add on extra stuff they wanted to originally but maybe couldn't due to scheduling conflicts or some other factor. 🤷‍♂️

Did Universal forget how to actually promote their movies? Because I didn't know Forgotten Island opened up this weekend. It didn't get a Super Mario/Minions-styled campaign. But once again, people want new, original ideas and don't show up, rewarding you with more of the same in the future.

Alt: Raissa (Liza Soberano) is shaken up and surprised by her surroundings and panickily reacting in a shot from Forgotten Island (2026). The wild take in this animation is exaggerated and amazing.

Looks good here👍 I think the first time I saw Jocasta, was this period of time when Hank Pym had his own Avengers Team with this Infinity Mansion and Loki was pretending to be The Scarlet Witch at the time. I recall Jocasta had several bodies around to act as guides in case people got lost. 🤔
