While pondering a program to watch, I suggested Trek and Heidi recommended we restart Next Gen, so we are starting from the beginning. Halfway through the episode, I look at Facebook at random and I see that TODAY is the 39th anniversary its premier! That is SUCH a weird coincidence!

Dandy Q. Dog here was the star of my first-ever comic strip. It's a comic I created as a little kid back in the early 80s, but that ran ONLINE as "Dandy & Company" from 2001 to 2018. With it's 25th anniversary coming up, I've REALLY been wanting to do something NEW with him.

Was able to get my hands on the AMAZING Taschen Spider-Man hardcover for super cheap during their Labor Day sale, and it is STUNNING!!!! Hi-Res photos of every page, adds and all, of the first 21 Spidey stories including photos of the original art from Amazing Fantasy 15. So purty!

I think every artist goes through bouts where it feels like you can't draw anymore. Of course, just as often, it’s our HEADS telling us everything sucks when it doesn’t. I figured it would be fun to attack both ideas at once, AND literally shake up the 4th wall for good measure.
