We moved to San Diego and the Padres made it into the playoffs. Thank you. Also a tremendous heat wave started. It's 105 degrees outside. Why you so superstitious?

When news outlets use "robot apocalypse" or something similar when covering the AI threat, it keeps the subject matter in the fantasy world. If they used examples like "AI could empty your bank account" or "publicize your porn habits" it would seem scarier. I'm sure it would make Trump think twice.

Escrow should close to tomorrow. So let's think about anything else. Instagram does a great job of recommending artists similar to those I already follow, but most of my feed is made up of more suggestions. So how do I flip the ratio, to see more of those I already follow?

Chip n Dale in their Rescue Ranges costumes. Dale's making a silly face through a magnifying glass.

Gosalyn holds a baseball bat, LP has his fists up, and Darkwing Duck points his gun off screen. They look ready to fight.

The rangers carry a giant acorn. Dale rides on top, not really helping.

I'm finding it hard to get any art done until we're settled somewhere. But I'll be putting three pieces up for sale in just a bit, a Chip n Dale, a Rescue Rangers group, and Team Darkwing.

Listening to a Patreon episode of Otherworld, a great paranormal podcast. Highly recommended, go back to the start and enjoy. Anyway, in this episode Jack was revisiting the Hatman story. (Google it) A pastor ran a website that collected stories.

The eruption of Mount St. Helens, seen shortly after 8:32 am Sunday, 18 May 1980, probably along the forest roads of Gifford Pinchot National Forest. The photographer, Richard Lasher, survived the eruption that killed approximately 57 others.

Took an earlier than usual walk with the dog to Chumash Park, just a mile and a half from my house.

The sun silhouettes a large oak tree at the top of a grassy hill. The air is filled with mist which removes details, giving the photo a painterly look.

In working on the no gen AI directory, I've looked at a LOT of artist portfolios. Like, 350+ of them at this point. And I thought I'd compile what I was seeing done right, what surprised me (positively), and then what I was commonly seeing done wrong. Use this to tweak your own portfolio!

NASA isn't why the US doesn't have universal healthcare, or a social safety net. The US doesn't have those things because politicians with the power to provide them choose specifically not to (with varying levels of support from voters). Enthusiasm for human spaceflight doesn't drive that choice.

Finally got back to my reworking of my RR Christmas drawing. Eventually, I'll redraw this for an online sale, without the fun True Grit textures.

The Rescue Rangers bringing home a giant round ornament. Zipper flies in front carrying holly. Gadget carries Christmas light bulbs, while Chip and Monty carry the ornament with Dale riding on top with a Santa cap.

Previous sketch reworked. Gadget now carries a saw. Zipper struggles to help carry a giant acorn with Chip and Monty, while Dale hangs off the side.

WIP My intention is to redraw the last few setups I've posted to sell online since there are no cons in my future. I like my Rescue Rangers piece but a Christmas themed piece seems a weird sell in April, so I'm converting it. I'm struggling a bit with Zipper and Gadget.

A rough sketch is superimposed over the Rescue Rangers Christmas scene. Instead of an ornament, it's a giant acorn. The attitudes of the characters are being reworked.
