not having my greatest day. started w a migraine, then my car wouldn’t start. towed it to the shop, probably the alternator. bathroom window appointment was fast but pricey, it’s $1,640 to replace. oh and i broke my 38-week meditation streak. it’s okay. i’m okay. 😔

I think it’s pretty interesting that we are continuously told that men’s role in society is to be “protectors,” and yet there were 57 young men in that group chat and not a single one of them said “we shouldn’t rape this woman, she’s passed out and cannot consent, this isn’t right.” #cornell

Exactly this. And in fact, many models *have* been created this way, and decades of prior machine learning systems *were* created this way, consensually. These things are choices! People are STILL working this way! It’s not just that a better world is possible — it already EXISTS. We can nurture it.
