I can't think of a time when someone spoke so eloquently with their outfit choice as Lewis Hamilton did today & I remain in awe of how wisely he's using the power he has earned. Truly on a completely different level than his peers.

It really is such masculine energy to blame things on a woman who no longer works at the company www.nytimes.com/2025/01/16/u...

Mr. Zuckerberg was amenable. He signaled to Mr. Miller and his colleagues, including other senior Trump advisers, that he would do nothing to obstruct the Trump agenda, according to three people with knowledge of the meeting, who asked for anonymity to discuss a private conversation. Mr. Zuckerberg said he would instead focus solely on building tech products.

Mr. Zuckerberg blamed his former chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, for Facebook’s culture, according to one of the people with knowledge of the meeting. He said new guidelines and a series of layoffs amounted to a reset and that more changes were coming.

Increasingly it feels like the only way to think about algorithmic media is that it’s a game normal people don’t even know they’re playing

Self-limited aspirations happens when women rationally decide it is not worth the energy, time or mental health to take the next step forward, as I told@shannonrwatts.bsky.social. It is possible to dismantle these beliefs. Check out Shannon's book FIRED UP. shannonwatts.substack.com/p/in-a-world...

In a world that wants women to want less, embracing desire is a radical act

Too many women believe they're too old, too busy, or too inexperienced to go after what they really want, but none of that is true

If you're looking for a fun project, I suggest explaining this ad to a bunch of 10-year olds familiar w/ gardening. Who wants weeds delivered? Why? Why is there an astronaut? What does the moon have to do with weeds? Do phones work in space? #help

Had some friends over this weekend & we all took the Pew political topologies test. For the first time my results put me outside of the usual suspect groups & several friends were surprised by their results, too. I don't identify w/ the group I'm in - do you? www.pewresearch.org/politics/qui...

What do you all use for podcasts? I'm determined not to mix music & podcasts (so can't go w/ Spotify) but now that Google Podcasts is being sunset I don't know what to switch to. Amazon? Something else? What's even out there? 🤔

'Wherever you get your podcasts' is such a funny sentence. As if we're all out there hunting for podcasts in different places each day.

I've seen many compelling calls to come work on a project/startup/mission & I've written a few, but I don't think I've ever come across one that so perfectly describes the challenge, nails the tone & accompanying image as this one 💕

American food packaging sometimes answers the questions you didn't think to ask. Like, for example, why would there be cellulose powder (?) in something that's also marked as 'all natural parmesan' 🤔

What makes for a good first post these days? Haven't done one in 14ish yrs. Let's talk about flowers: it's prime planting season in the Northeast & the promenade i Gloucester is shaping up nicely. You can sponsor a particular flower bed & type of flower & did I mention that view? 😍
