Hamaguchi always here talking about Zack in interviews but is no one allowed to even ask about Aerith? For real, do interviewers have to agree not to ask certain spoilery questions before they get to talk to him? Anyway, if Zack is super playable and even has a skill tree... looks good for Aeris 😘

I had a dream that a new Revelation trailer showed Aeris having a few FITS and I was so, so happy. Then I realized it must have been a dream because the FITS she was wearing actually looked good, and judging by the FITS we've seen in trailers so far, there just ain't no way

"Come to your own answers rather than have it explained to you" is the most Final Fantasy VII thing they could do with the ending. Jury's out on what player choices and personal interpretations really mean for the story, but a clear black and white answer to everything in the story just isn't FF7.

Every goddamn thing you hear about this man. Almost makes you mad how perfect he is. And then you find out another thing and he's even more perfect. In the 2026 hellscape, it's absurdity. If Trump is cardboard-depth comic book villain parameters of evil, Mamdani is shounen protagonist good.

Cloud's resonance in FF Resonance: when asked about losing someone, would you change fate? Feels like an overt reference to Rebirth and the Remake Trilogy in general. #Clerith #Aerith

Though they are separate stories, some of the questions about Cloud and Aeris in Final Fantasy VII might be answered if you play Kingdom Hearts 1 to the end. -Nomura 🥹 #Clerith #Aerith

i feel like people think the FFVII series is written with some big lore handbook by a bunch of staff with encyclopedic knowledge when in fact it's three generations of developers who haven't even glanced at the compilation in two decades. and this is why the Remake series is mostly very good lol

Ever Crisis skipped quick through Huge materia, but did a really great job on the Lifestream sequence. It actually retranslated a bunch, which was nice, and even restored this missing line about how Tifa doesn't actually have any memories of Cloud before the water tower.

Why does Traces of Two Pasts have inconsistencies with Rebirth? 1. the location and visibility of Tifa's scar was changed. 2. she lies to Aerith and Red XIII by corroborating Cloud's recount of Nibelheim, even though she told Aerith in Rebirth right away that Cloud wasn't there. ???

Let's all take a moment to remember that time Nomura drew Cloud Strife as Romeo from Romeo + Juliet. ~But, soft, what light through yonder window breaks? It is the east, and Aeris is the sun.~

I get not wanting to spoil the ending either way. But I will say, after all of this, I'll just be so annoyed if FF7R does lead into AC. Like, what's the point

051

Aellis Valhal @aellis7.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

It makes it sound like Zack and Aerith will be part of the Lifestream scene, no? Well, Zack makes sense, since that relates to Cloud's identity issues in Nibelheim.. but Aeris doesn't. I wonder how it'll be portrayed this time around.

Asked if fans can look forward optimistically to Aerith's fate and role in FFVII Revelation, Director Hamaguchi says it's tricky, because if he says "be optimistic," it might sound like he's guaranteeing the story will finish with a happy ending. [1/2] (Famitsu, 6/9)
