This is a good illustration of how so much of AI theft isn't indirect (ie, data sucked into a model to train the chatbot) - it's actually **direct** copying, but *enabled* by GenAI. Of course it is: chatbots absolutely suck at creating good, new stuff.

Friday’s chicken is an australorps. Sheila. My girl. Calm & steady leader with sharp eyes for predators. Emerald sheen. Laying is only a side gig. Unfazed by power tools, wary of sneezes. Very good at helping mom with whatever needs doing.

Thursday’s chicken is a bielefelder. Felda. A very big girl with a shy disposition. Lays perfect porcelain latte eggs. Always on the highest perch. Likes to eat roses. Finds any excuse to sneak full body hugs with mom. Pretty patterns are perfect camouflage.

Wednesday’s chicken is a blue copper marans. Marie Antoinette. Lives up to her name as an out of touch diva. Wears floofy pantaloons. Also loves dessert, making her eggs pure custard. Loudly claims to be a leader but nobody follows. Likes pets & being tucked in.

Tuesday’s chicken is a silver grey dorking. Qīng Liú. Glued to mom’s heels. Short legs with an extra toe. Buzzes & beeps instead of clucks & cheeps. Really loves fruit. If a pearly teardrop got animated. Best friends with the bielefelder.

Monday’s chicken is a gold laced wyandotte. Pterry. Likes to be near mom. Awkwardly social with other chickens. Is really good at knowing how to chicken. Pear pear. Looks vicious. Looks are not in fact deceiving.

My foster kitty fell in love with the outdoor feral. There are now two (fixed and vaccinated) foster kitties. They eat dinner like the scene from Lady and the Tramp every night. Already litterbox trained. Just a little longer to tame and these two are gonna be ready for a loving furever home.

An often bold resident along high elevation trails in the West, the golden-mantled ground squirrel (Callospermophilus lateralis) forages for nuts, seeds, insects, eggs, and other available omnivorous fare. Adults typically live alone in long shallow burrows between 1200-3900m above sea level.
