The sudden shift from "constant crowdsurfing" to "absolutely no crowdsurfing" in the gigs of the early millennium - do we think that was a collective lack of upper body strength, or just the realisation that being kicked in the head for 90 minutes is actually not fun?

Community Trash #7 For my 'Community Trash' series, I collect discarded or unwanted materials from friends, family, and community members: . For Community Trash #7, I collected empty and dried-out paint tubes -- my own, my friends', and strangers' -- over about a one-year period.

A large assemblage on a rectangular piece of wood. Empty paint tubes are arranged in a regular horizontal/vertical pattern, with different colored rectangles behind each tube.

My wife has pointed out to me the photographs I post of my oil paintings do not convey the way it feels when she walks into my office and there is one right there in the middle of everything. So, here's a photo of that...

A photograph of my office with a just finished painting in it. It's an oil painting of Neil Codling from Suede. It's on a desktop easel and has a piece of kitchen paper with paint all over it, a tiny brush (I always use tiny brushes even on big paintings) and my palette.
