Vibe coding can be neat but why is it the people who tell me I need to vibe-code more always have the worst vibes? I ain’t going vibe coding with these bad vibes.

culturally, in govt, IT is operations, which is instrumentalist/not “high status” work, relative to what governments have to do writ large. this is arguably a good thing. but progressive technocrats keep trying to push tech into strategy and ideology, which would be worse.

Look at me. I am so brave. I’m a provocateur. I will write the same tired cancel culture piece. I will not write about people in power screwing workers over but will contort myself to defend some random disciplined worker that actually hurling racial slurs is actually an act of worker solidarity.

They were single issue voters in wanting to say the R-slur. They’re still supremely unfunny because if you aren’t funny without the R-slur, you are definitely not going to be funny with it

I think a very underrated reason why they hate the migration off of X is that now there are less libs for them to own as if saying the R-slur that’s rampant on there is owning the libs.

In Canada, we pay a lot of attention to what happens south of the border. But as we watch Elon Musk wreak havoc through the US government, we shouldn’t ignore how our own tech elite is embracing a similar politics — and calling for a DOGE of their own. They can’t be allowed to succeed.

Elon Musk started aligning with Donald Trump even before he won. Now Canada’s tech industry is following a similar playbook
Canada's tech leaders are leaning toward a right-wing agenda that appears to mimic what is happening south of the border.
