Literal cages. Not even metaphorical ones. Literal ones.

Jason Delgado (Florida Capitol reporter for Spectrum News 13) on X: "Quick look at what inside a detainment tent looks like here at Alligator Alcatraz." What is shown in the picture is a long tent structure, about 50 feet wide. There is a corridor running down the middle. On each side are three rows of bunk beds. The bunk beds are sectioned off into cells which are constructed out of chain link fence, with chain link on the ceiling as well, making each cell a literal cage. It looks to me like each cell contains 9 bunk beds, so has capacity for 18 people each.

Final vote. 50-50. VP breaks the tie. One single GOP Senator could have stopped this abomination. Saved millions of parents from watching their child go hungry. Saved the lives destroyed when Medicaid disappears. They will all live forever with the horror of this bill.

I highly recommend it if you have any struggles at all with executive dysfunction, adhd, depression, or anxiety, it sees you, and it gives you a really welcome and caring hug, which it assures you, you deserve!

When your mom comes down with shingles you get her meds and a care package for Mother's Day instead of going out.

A picture of the care package I brought my mom. On a car seat are a bouquet of yellow tulips, a Starbucks hot drink cup, a peach colored card with the word Mom on it, and a plastic bag with medicine in it for my mom.

How I feel about Esquie at any given moment. #gaming #clairobscur

The picture is a meme with two panels. The first is looking into a bedroom with a stick figure covered in big black clouds all around, indicating sadness. The second panel shows Esquie from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 bursting through the bedroom door saying "mon ami!" and the stick figure blushes and holds its arms out while saying "omg Esquie, mon ami! hi!!!!"

I finished Lo Fi by Liz Riggs yesterday. This book is as much as love letter to music as it is a slice of Nashville life. The characters are well developed, the storyline is a slow burn, and the ending is definitely satisfactory. A great read and 4/5 on my chart! 📚💙 #booksky
