Because traditional database searches can miss co-created research, we need direct input from scholars doing this type of work. Your contribution matters - whether your work explicitly mentions co-creation or uses different collaborative principles.

Co-creation of research is one way to include stakeholders in the research process: develop research questions, (re-)design methods, collect and analyze data, co-author outputs. Our goal is to strengthen collaborative approaches that combine theoretical rigor with practical impact.

Do you conduct management research WITH rather than ON organizations? Are you working with workers, entrepreneurs, activists, or communities to conduct research together? We want to hear from you because we are mapping co-created research in management studies.

Caledonian Road – For capturing life in England today across class, ethnicity, and age (less so based on gender).

Paolo Alto – On the harmful toll of Silicon Valley capitalism, not as a trend, but as deeply embedded through its history. Such a Fun Age – A brilliant narrative that interweaves reflections on friendship, marriage, motherhood, and racial tourism.

Andreana "Addy" Drencheva @addydren.bsky.social · 31/12/2024
When McKinsey Comes to Town – While there is a lot written about consultancy firms, this was a fantastic read with rich details and nuance into the numerous ways one consultancy firm causes harm and how this is justified.

Power and Progress – for reflecting on when and how technology can be a source for shared prosperity and how far from such use of technology we are today.

Andreana "Addy" Drencheva @addydren.bsky.social · 31/12/2024
Matrescence – I may still struggle to pronounce “matrescence” (or spell it for that matter), but this book was an empathy building read for a glimpse into what becoming a parent involves for women and how our structures and systems today do not support (or even accommodate) this process adequately.

Crying in H Mart – Admittedly, I should have not been reading this while both my dad and my partner’s dad were undergoing cancer treatment, but in many ways it was cathartic and an excellent excuse to cry in public.
