Frankly one of the most insane runs of all time

Akira Kurosawa's filmography from 1940 to 1963, 16 films including such classics as Stray Dog, Rashomon, Ikiru, Seven Samurai, The Hidden Fortress, Yojimbo, and High and Low, plus more. Insane pace. Insane quality.

Very cool seeing the legendary @barbaracrampton.bsky.social and Brian Yuzna interviewed by @willsloanesq.bsky.social and @honorszombie.bsky.social at @baystreetvideo.com tonight. Great stories and a fun way to celebrate 40 years of Re-Animator.

They should add an Ozu mode where the camera never moves as quiet and devastating revelations are made through the mundane habits and social norms of regular people trying to live their lives.

Twitter user @LordBalvin:
“Following Kurosawa Mode, Ghost of Yotei is gonna have TWO new Japanese director inspired game modes to play in.
Takashi Miike for a more initmiate, raw experience AND Shinichiro Watanabe has a mode with original lofi music directed by Watanabe himself!! SAMURAI CHAMPLOO VIBES”

With an attached video of a samurai video game showcasing the new modes.

Lithuania as well www.lithuaniancitizenship.com

What are the Eligibility criteria for Lithuanian citizenship by descent?

- At least one of your parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents were a citizen of the Republic of Lithuania (which existed from 1918 to 1940)
- This ancestor left Lithuania sometime before Lithuania restored its independence on March 11, 1990
- Your ancestor left to any country, which was not part of the former Soviet Union (in case your ancestor left to any of the Soviet Union countries, you might be eligible for single or dual Lithuanian citizenship depending on the time and circumstances of them leaving).

If you see this, post a fictional artist/band that you would love to see live

The Slipnutz, a parody vaudeville act from Late Night with Conan O’Brien who get double booked with Slipknot. Their bit is that they slip on nuts.

The Wonders from That Thing You Do! (1996). A great and convincing 1960’s one-hit wonder pop group.

@dieworkwear.bsky.social Hi Derek- I just watched the 1991 Demi Moore movie Mortal Thoughts and throughout she wears (among other cool outfits) what appears to be a large wool coat that is black with coloured flecks in it. Is there a specific name for this kind of material?
