There needs to be an easier way to understanding all the nuances between Medicare, medical, and all things related to rehab facilities and the care for a loved one. The last thing a tired care giver can deal with is shenanigans and boy are there shenanigans!

I knew this day was coming but didn’t know when. I am now the full time caregiver for my mom and navigating her partner’s needs as well while he is admitted. Sharing a my moment of breathing and trying to find zen in the overwhelming craziness. Pet photos would help if you feel inclined.

My guy was gone for 10 days on a cruise followed by a couple days in Denali National park. He saw puffins which is amazing! No whales.Thought he may see moose or bear in Denali but nope, the only notable sighting was swans. How Mother Nature knows his comfort level with the wild is incredible.

People on hospice receive treatment to alleviate pain and suffering, they're not typically receiving life sustaining medical treatment. That's literally the whole point of hospice, it's there to make patients comfortable at the end of their lives. These people are fucking ghouls
