Just the truth! 🫶🏻 Cyrus and Lucien are my favorite human/vampire couple and I love all of your worldbuilding too!

#LitHodgepodge 5 Noah shrugs: "...some good drink and company, I guess?" Selina doesnt hesitate: "Curling up with a good book after a job well done" Erastos' hand absently runs over the stump where his pinky should be "...Freedom." 'Pearl' frowns pensively, then signs: 'Learning new things?'

Amazing book, especially for October!🦇 But honestly, well written vampire romances are fun to read all year around! 🌈📚🪐 I adored 'Silver Blood' and I adore 'Shattered City' just as much! Pre-ordered the printed version and can't wait for it to join 'Silver Blood' on my physical shelf! 5/5⭐

She actually knows a bit about swords! More infantry swords than rapiers, but it's a foundation she could build on I think!🤺

Oh! Mounted archery is specific!🏇🏹 She'd have to get a well-trained horse for it, since most prey animals tend to find her unnerving in an instinctual way, but I can see it!🤔 More for fun or to prove that she can than for combat though, she likes being up close in a fight!

Oooh! Good question!🤔 I think 'Stem the Flow' by Paris Paloma would hit her hard and she'd learn to play it in private until she hits every note!

I can totally see that!🤩 Noah is usually more of a hands-on-kinda-gal in a fight but she sure has the keen sight and steady hands for it!🏹

Isn't it?? I love how the commission turned out!🥰 Never thought about it but Noah would rock billiards! Absolutely would learn how to hustle people she doesn't like out of their money just for the fun of it!😂

Ooh! That honestly fits perfectly! Nee would love that!^^

😂😂😂 Best guess ever!

000

That fits so well! Nee adores flowers!🌸

Oh! That's a good one! Nee kind of did ner pearl jewelry nemself, so that cleary hits home! Now nee just needs to learn how to do human jewelry!😂😊

Now I'm picturing nem tinkering at a bottle to make one!

This is a fun idea! Especially since nee is completely new to cooking in general! I can practically see the chaos before nee finally figures it out!😂

020

Gorgeous!😍 I love those two so much!

#LitHodgepodge 3 Part 2! Next one is 'Pearl'! (another commission made by the amazing @ascoresdalua.bsky.social) What do you think will be ner new hobby, now that nee is...mostly human?🎨🧑‍🌾🎸🧗 #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts #WriteSky ('Pearl' goes by Nee/Nem/Nerself)

A persons face, partly submerged in water.

Ner skin is light brown, ner dark brown hair parted into multiple thick braids that dissapear into the water. A lotus flower in ner hair.
Ner eyes are a vibrant green.

The reflection in the water looks very different: a merrow with far less human features, fins and gills, ner long inky black hair and forehead adorned with pearls.

#LitHodgepodge 3 Oh, this sounds like fun!😁 Let's start with my Noah! (art commissioned by the talented @ascoresdalua.bsky.social ) What hobby do YOU think she'd choose? 🎨 🧑‍🌾 🎸 🧗 #WritingCommunity #WritingPrompts #WriteSky

artwork of a young woman with freckled, tan skin, light brown curly hair pulled into a braid, honey brown eyes, wearing a victorian blouse, a grey vest and brown pants

Her visible ear is slightly pointed, with multiple piercings, her fingerless gloves revealing rather pointed, almost claw-like nails, and the shadow falling over half her face has one of her eyes seem to almost glow golden....

she sits with crossed arms, legs spread and looks off to the side, not acknowledging or noticing the viewers presence

True! It'd be boring if everyone had the same habits and methods when writing, wouldn't it?😊

020

🤔🤔🤔 I get the vibes that she already tried out more relaxing hobbies like knitting, painting or gardening...she also gives the vibes of someone who already goes hiking on the regular? So perhaps she's learning to play the guitar today?^^

Always nice to share good taste 😉 But honestly, it was hard to choose from most of these! (Except for the dog-ear part lol) Just looked at yours - love the little notes you added!

#LitHodgepodge 2 Interesting question!🤔 The cast of "Far From Home" would cause delightful chaos in Supernatural, since Dean and Sam would NOT know what to do about any them...lol🐺 The cast from "On The Shoreline" is trickier...🤔 Erastos and 'Pearl' probably feel most at home in POTC, I suppose?🏴‍☠️🌊

#LitHodgepodge 1 Hi! I'm Lee! I love queer-normative fantasy fiction, from angst to fluff!📚 But honestly, I write/read almost everything! Right now I'm working on two main wips, while trying not to get distracted by my dozens of smaller ones!🙃 Most of these were hard to pick from:

This or That
with highlighted words: Paperback, Standalone, Tears, Tea, Villain, Character-Driven, Pen & Paper, Sweet, Soundtrack, Bookmark, Plotter, Lush, Slow Craft, Midnight

Maybe gardening? 🤔 He seems like he could use a stress-reducing hobby

Aww! Adorable art! I love galvantula! (and Ariados) They combine my childhood obsession with spiders and my enduring love for pokemon so well🕸️
