Should also say that Derek Jarman was also as much of a genius as Ken Russell. One of the reasons why ‘The Devils’ hits so hard, is down to Jarman’s absolutely astonishing set design. He was a gifted polymath, & one of the best examples of someone who could literally make magic out of nothing.
