Friday night. The time to sneak through the things you know the public will hate. Also the ones that are probably illegal and traitorous. Trump is opening the floodgates of support for the Kremlin, Putin, their illegal aggression against Ukraine...and their aid to Iran in their war against us.

Trump and Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" is promoting its pink Bible for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October. No mention of any proceeds going to charity. $74.99 preview.mailerlite.io/emails/webvi...

Honor her fight. Celebrate her strength. Remind her she’s never alone. View in browser

Give Her Something to Hold Onto

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a time to honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, remember those we’ve lost, and stand beside the women still in the battle.

The Pink Edition of the God Bless The USA Bible makes a meaningful gift for someone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.

Wrapped in beautiful pink with elegant gold details, it’s more than a Bible. It’s a reminder of faith when days are difficult, hope when the road feels uncertain, and the strength that comes from knowing you’re never walking alone.

Whether she’s recently been diagnosed, undergoing treatment, celebrating years cancer-free, or carrying the memory of someone she loves, give her a gift that speaks straight to the heart.

This October, give the gift of faith. Give the gift of hope. Give Pink.

you can't be serious. This reads Meta/Facebook/Insta is looking to grant itself the rights to scrape websites across the open web - and train Meta's AI - if a company after Oct 30, 2026 uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta services. So every biz. Read that again. Outrageous. 1/5

Note, Meta faces publishers' lawsuits alleging it torrented pirated books from shadow libraries to train its AI. Trial date was set just yesterday for May 3, 2027. Meta looks to now be trying to write sweeping website scraping rights into its terms. Quite a coincidence. Or a wake-up call, all. 4/5

Yes, I haven't heard about it anywhere else; it's so unbelievably stupid, hubristic, and capitalist. Imagine the inverse of those ridiculous schemes to block out the sun, but just as horrible.

Reminder that if you let trans kids transition, they become happy, healthy adults. They don't regret it.
An excerpt from a study that reads "Based on this review, there is an extremely low prevalence of regret in transgender patients after GAS. We believe this study corroborates the improvements made in regard to selection criteria for GAS."

TL;DR: The corporate media's favorite supreme court "experts" have failed us. We should recognize that the real experts are the people who understood both the situation and the necessary solutions years ago, not those who are continually surprised to find things are worse than they thought.

Here are dozens of excerpts from experts' testimony to the 2021 White House SCOTUS commission that reinforce the need for Supreme Court expansion. Several, including submissions from Larry Kramer & Michael Klarman, specifically address "race to the bottom": static1.squarespace.com/static/5ce33...

"sure, granted, our policy ideas are terrible, our candidates are an off-putting bunch of third-rate grifters, woman-haters, and racists, we ran the economy into the ditch, and we started an illegal war we can't finish, but Democrats want abortion to be legal" is not a winning argument.

...but putting their handy little explanation that a trans woman is a 'biological male' who 'identifies' as a woman, and suddenly the reality of so many trans women's lives and healthcare needs - not to mention safety, privacy, and dignity - completely erased. Entirely divorced from reality.

The "is AI slavery" discourse is exactly what the tech bros want. It doesn't end with fancy autocompletes having human rights. Its logic ends with you having fewer rights. If you believe AI is sentient (it's not) & are down with enslaving it (it's not slavery), then why do human labor rights matter?

North Carolina early voting begins, with students targeted by suppression schemes
Ultimately, voters described the roadblocks as a feature, not a bug, of the state’s electoral system — one that’s littered with so much confusion that some may decide to stay home and not vote at all.

Pater earlier writes "This becomes clear in how words and names are capitalised. The power relations between ideas, positions of power, and human relations could be judged according to capitalisation. In colonial times, 'White as a race was capitalised, and 'black' was written in lower case."
