I was just looking it up, it looks like they are actually moving towards regulating it (or have) nowadays rather than making it illegal because if you consume it as an herb it’s literally fine. It’s less dangerous than alcohol or pesticides. It’s the refined garbage here that is dangerous

Yeah no it was funny this came up in conversation like a week ago. Someone was panicking that I was doing Kratom, which I do not but it is a leaf that grows wild in Thailand and farmers nibble on to get energy to do farming. It is also technically illegal there. Drug wars/white people suck

Can one do "algebraic geometry" over a monoid in place of the coordinate ring? That is, suppose I have a commutative monoid. Is there a coherent (in the informal sense) notion of Zariski topology? Do prime ideals work how I would hope they do based on CRing? Or similar. #MathSky

Thinking about telling his professor/adviser on him. It’s not exactly harassment but it’s been going on since like Valentine’s Day of last year and I’m worried it’s going to escalate. He’s stressing me out. His adviser is who I am doing research with and so I see him every week
