🧵GBJAM 14 thread, theme: OLD GOLD Had a huge brainstorm session with new tools and all (KDE Drawy is neat!) and decided on an idea, we are going to be sorting a lot of treasure from a dragons hoard! Little crude mockup and the absolute infodump of my brain :D #GBJAM #indiedev #gamedev

Very crude mockup of the play area. The watchful eye of a goofy dragon gazing down on our protagonist, a little kobold task to sort the dragons hoard into wanted and unwanted piles or ... well taste dragonfire.

sadly hard to describe, but a massive mind map of today's brainstorm session. Exploring the theme of OLD GOLD, breaking into categories and ideas around Mythology (Midas, Eldorado), Pirates, the era of the gold rush and Treasure, where eventually we arrived the idea of a treasure sorter game!
