fur affinity has been running for 21 years, is one of the largest archives of queer art online, and one of the few art sites that has not switched to some kind of infinite feed bullshit and it's being strangled over "adult" art. suspiciously wealthy furries now is your time to paypig for culture

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider “adult content” is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and “barbie doll nudity” to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters can’t be posed or dressed “too provocatively.”

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they’re legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren’t, we don’t touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Remember back in the mid-00s when Nickelodeon totally didn’t make a show about a trans girl superhero?

Dude, this is genuinely so fucking disappointing. Nearly all of the commits I’ve seen for PPSSPP involve generative AI from Claude in the past week alone, and their entire newest dev blog is almost entirely written by Claude. Almost half of the commits in the past 3 months use Claude for AI code.

In regard to FurAffinity being at risk due to censorship: Furries are now political targets. We are getting namedropped at high levels of government. They know that we are a large, influential, largely queer, community. Fighting for the spaces owned by our community is incredibly important

It may seem funny, but they've realized that attacking trans people directly isn't working. So of course they're going to attack a supportive LGBTQ+ community. They've been dehumanizing us forever. It's a sad, stupid old playbook that they're pulling from. Stand your ground, support each other.

This is funny, it really is. However. I don't think I have any "keep politics out of furry uwu" people following me, but if i do, you need to think about this. No amount of keeping it SFW is going to be enough for him. They will make your hobby political, and owning that is our only defense.

#WIP #GoldDigger #PixelArt #FredPerry #GinaDiggers I initially wanted the resolution for the eventual #mockup to be gba screen res (240x160px), but I think I may aim for a DS screen resolution (256x192px) as if it was a tie in game for the full version of the Gold Digger OVA.

A pixel art rendition of Gina Diggers.

I initially wanted to use a template basis I did a while back, but have up and doodled a stickfigure.

Adding some thickness with an outline who has gone from the deep purple I usually use as black to colored outlines to a less deep purple.

It would made sense for Brittany to have 1 more tile row (and thus being a 40px high sprite instead of 32px), mainly so we can have an idea of the scale between the sisters.

Pills That Make You Green: Thailand

Three panel comic with crudely drawn stick people.

Panel 1: A grayscale stick person is at a counter, holding a pill bottle. A presaturation green person is approaching.

Green: "Pharmacist, I would like to turn green."

Pharmacist: "Ok here you go."

Green: "What? Just like that?"

Pharmacist: "Yeah?"

Panel 2: The green person cautiously picks up the bottle.

Green: "Ok how much-"

Pharmacist: "Nothing, it's free."

Green: "For real?"

Pharmacist: "Yeah"

Panel 3: Zoom in on the green person, who says:

"...Thanks, but something about this is activating my fight or flight response. You haven't even asked a single inappropriate question about my childhood"

On Bisexual Visibility Day I'd like to talk about my coming out experience. It was an unfurling of sorts, due to queerphobia enforced by not only my state, the country, but also my small town community. I came out confidently as bisexual in 8th grade. I was 14. I knew I was bi. But...it was scary.
