Sadly, there's not a lot of #T20Cricket that I can watch but I am digging the #WNBA playoffs and the #NHL is back.

Just randomly looking at scores and saw @somersetccc.bsky.social with 691/8. That’s insane. Is this a record? For county? Country? Something? Such a crazy high score for red ball. Tom Abell at 284 for 385. Just mind melting numbers. Guy must be sleeping hard after all that.

First time seeing #TorontoTempo home court. It’s very simple but I love the classic look and maroon is always a solid option. #WNBA

This #CPL eliminator is a low affair so far. Tridents only 49-5 after 10. King (0 for 5), K Anderson (0 for 4) and Descarte (0 for 2) all gone for ducks. On track for 98 which is a ROUGH target to defend. #T20Cricket🏏

I have t had much time to actually watch the #ETPL but tomorrow’s final fixture could setup a really interesting final table. If the Wolves and Guardians both win, the top four will all be level at 13 points and everything will be de used by net run rate. I love this game. #T20Cricket🏏

This botanical research for #Cricket🏏 willow trees is really fascinating. Turns out that I was correct in my initial thought that if it grew in England that it likely grows in the States as well. Apparently the Salix alba caerulea aka Cricket Bat Willow grows in New England.

Love to have woken up to an English #TestCricket🏏 win. Pakistan made a good show of it in their second innings but England completed the home sweep. I honestly thought post-BazBall would have taken longer to get off the ground.

The latest @acscricket.bsky.social journal The Cricket Statistician is on sale at shop.acscricket.com/ Read about how Arthur Conan Doyle kept track of his own averages; Jimmy Anderson's domestic batting partnerships; the earliest recorded cricket competition; and why England has had so many openers.

This is a brilliant question. I believe ‘technically’ one could argue that The Hundred is #T20Cricket🏏 purely on the basis that each team gets twenty overs. I follow a lot of T20 and I consider the competition as part of the format. Record keepers seem to agree it looks like.

This is a real disgrace and it’s a terrible look for the sport. In a sport that is very small in terms of major nations playing, the more power one association has over the game compared to others is a recipe for disaster. Unfortunately, we live in an era of profits trumping almost anything.

Very distressed by how poorly England performed during the first day of this Test. It’s nice to see they recovered a tad toward the tail end of the day to finish with 4 wickets but essentially gifting the New Zealand openers a century apiece is just a bad way to start. #ENGvNZL #TestCricket🏏
